During May we have continued to have formal and informal meetings with a wide range of partners from across Kent and Medway.  This has included presenting at the monthly Patient and Public Advisory Group (PPAG) meeting where we receive regular feedback on future plans.

We recently attended a cross sector VCSE networking event at the Orchards Event Centre in East Malling. The event brought together a wide variety of organisations including Stronger Kent Communities, Age Concern, Alzheimer’s and Dementia Support Services, Maidstone Area Arts Partnership and Nucleus Arts.

The main objective of the event was to provide opportunities for networking. We presented an update on the STP and how we are looking to improve engagement with the VCSE sector.

We highlighted opportunities for co-production of pieces of work and asked for organisations to contact us to discuss how the STP can work more effectively with the sector. As a result of the meeting, several organisations have already made contact and attended an engagement session on the updated clinical strategy piece of work currently being undertaken.

We welcome all the feedback, experience, and challenge from our engagement work and continue to use the feedback we get to help shape our thinking and plans.
