NHS England and The Stroke Association have collaborated to produce a short video showing how changes in stroke services can save lives and reduce lifelong disability. It tells the story of Allan, who talks about receiving specialist care and community rehabilitation in Greater Manchester after having a stroke. It shows how Allan’s life has been transformed by the changes and why similar changes could benefit other areas.
